Percepta Leadership actively resists two prevalent mindsets in business which hold that leaders:
There is a better way
It starts with leaders deeply understanding and humanizing themselves in the context of the work they do and the people they lead.
We are allies in our vision to help leaders better navigate the human dimension of business, in service of people who want to be better leaders as well as better human beings.

Annika is an accomplished legal professional, psychotherapist and leadership coach. With a robust background in law and a deep-seated interest in psychology, Annika's multifaceted career is a testament to her dedication to putting her deep understanding of intercultural and interpersonal dynamics in service of others.
Annika's professional journey began in Germany, where she completed rigorous training as a fully qualified lawyer. Her legal and leadership acumen was further honed through eight years of experience as the European Practice Group Manager at a prestigious full-service corporate law firm in downtown Toronto Canada. In this capacity, Annika has managed a team of diverse professionals, overseeing complex cross-border legal matters. Her ability to navigate the intricate landscapes of international corporate law and lead a diverse team solidified her reputation as a strategic thinker and skilled leader.
Driven by profound curiosity and a passion for intercultural contexts, Annika made the bold decision to relocate to Canada after her legal training. This move was fueled by her desire to immerse herself in diverse cultural settings and to expand her expertise in cross-border legal issues. More recently, Annika has pursued a more holistic approach to her professional and personal interests, cultivating a lifelong passion for psychology with a particular focus on group dynamics and group psychotherapy.
Today, Annika is a psychodynamic psychotherapist, a discipline that explores human functioning and malfunctioning through the interaction of internal drives and forces. This approach goes beyond observable behaviour, delving into the underlying perceptions and understandings within the mind of the individual. Annika is a proud member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT).
Annika is also a leadership coach, leveraging extensive experience in both law and psychology to offer a unique perspective on leadership and team dynamics. Her approach is characterized by a deep understanding of the complexities of human behaviour, combined with a strategic mindset honed through years of legal practice. Passionate about empowering leaders to harness their full potential, fostering environments of trust, collaboration, and effective communication, Annika believes that true leadership transcends traditional boundaries, encompassing both professional excellence and personal growth.
Annika's distinctive blend of legal expertise and psychological insight enables her to support clients as they work through the complexities of contemporary leadership - and life - helping them to achieve both personal and professional goals with confidence and empathy.
